Death

This poem is the first one i ever put down on paper. On Regal Rd. in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 11, I was sitting on the front porch and reciting words off the top of my head to entertain my brother. This is one of the things that came out of my mouth and really impressed my him. What did he know. He told me it was really cool and my poetry career was born. It may not be great poetry and is a little morbid but if not for my brother I may not have continued on. It is a moment i hold near and dear to my heart. Here's to you David my dear brother, who is definitely alive and well in Alaska with his family. Satialee 2005

Death is a part of Life! We are so afraid of it that if we think of it or paint it it will come to us. Not true, you can't live life until you accept death. Sorry, didn't mean to get so heavy. But this is a beautiful poem!
