Artist Reply: thank you tamarah for your comment. I used a polarizing lens for this shot due to the strong sun. It took a while to get thise ladies relaxed enough to close their eyes so I could capture the sweetest pose of the day.

Wow! Where you see this! They look so content! I hope they were in the wild and not captured.

Artist Reply: thank you Nancy for your comments. Yes, these beautiful creatures were in the wild. I was on safari a few years ago, and had the privilege to enjoy the behaviors and photograph the most magnificant people and animals. I have done considerable traveling to obtain my photographs, but this Africa trip is by far the most rewarding. The people are amazing, and I will never forget the magic of the african plains...waking up to the roar of lions. I am forever changed.
