A precious moment when a child attention is focused on discovery, in this case how his hand looked pressed against the glass ...so focused he was unaware of Mom with a camera. ( I might have posted this long ago)
This is beautiful,
The hand print of a child holds so much hope for a future unknown. Back home before Katrina, I was in Bettys bathroom. Her son had been in there washing his hands. He had been playing in the dirt as little boys do. I could see something on the wall out the corner of my eye. It was a tiny little dirty hand print on her wall. I called Betty to come see what I found. At first when she saw it she went to take a rag and wipe it off. I told her before she did I wanted her to know how I felt about it. Being the mom of 2 older boys. I would give anything to have their little hand prints once again on my walls. I told her time just went by so fast and before I knew it they were grown and out the house. I told her that is was the best piece of art work she had in her house. Well it stayed there till Katrina came and took it away. The image will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
