Tiger Tiger

The background was a shot of some curtains. The Tiger a cutting from a magazine and scanned in then combined into this image by digital painting. The image of the Tiger was originally used to paint a life size mural in a lounge. The building has since been knocked down. I think this is why I did this digital painting to replace it. I never use images that I have not photographed myself in digital painting this tiger being the exception of the rule as the original image I used for a reference to do the painted life size onto the wall.

Creative and imaginative. Love that you used a curtain! I often get intrigued by something I see and put it to use. I keep reference file photos of the oddest things. Sometime or another, I will figure out what to do with it in a painting. Very nicely done composition!
