A Plethora of Dragons (copied from Boris Vallejo)

In this drawing the dragon was actually taken from Boris Vallejo's painting. All the other parts of this drawing are original. This took me a total of 73 hours +. It is all pen, a cheap Bic brand ball point, or papermate. I think the cheaper the pen the better the shading.

you art is very well refined.... a Borris Vallejo painting is always a nice subject :)

Artist Reply: glad to know there is another Vallejo fan out there... I have to go but if you are on this site I will check it out as well tonight when I get back here to work!!!

wow...to be able to draw like this in pen...this looks like a painting! Great job

Artist Reply: the thing about using ball point pens to draw and shade is that if the paper you are using isn't acid free, then it's starts turning another color, with some drawings this could be a good thing....
