John I just love your work...So beautiful!

Artist Reply: thank you for your kind thoughts. I am still hoping that this will make a wonderful gift tile in the product categories of many department stores. I designed an entire line of art tiles at the time. Contract negotiations broke down through the project and I had already broke the cardinal rule of not producing any work until the ink is dry. Word to the wise.

So romantic and pretty.

When I was a starving artist I used to install ceramic and marble tile. I never saw a tile that looked as good as this.

Artist Reply: well, that s very lovely sentiment Charles. Not the "starving artist" part though. I hate to hear those two words. I cringe whenever I hear that phrase applied to the visually inspired.

Very "pre-rafaellitish"! I like it very much :)
