The Orchid Collector

A work in progress...still to be added: old 60's pictures of our collector and his young bride, a giant bralizian aquatic caterpillar...interestingly, the only food to bring his rarest orchid's 30 year flowering cycle to fruitition :) The plants ultimately bear his children, his descendants, the fruit of years of his labour. His bride, a worthy sacrifice, will be lying gutted on the sofa to the right, when i get a moment to finish it, and figure out exactly how to make a giant aquatic catterpillar look feminine! :) ...hi-ho, lots of work to go Sole Copyright of Artist.

love this one herman. reminds me of my English Professor. His eyes were askew and we didnt know which one was really looking at us. Maybe none of them. what is the object to this guy's right? It has mass yet cannot be defined. An Herman enigma.
