Om Mani Padme Hum

A 2345 hits pic for my site. Er, I was told to draw whatever I want, so I drew Seraph. I couldn't decide on a mudra for Seraph. She always used the vitarka mudra, but I thought she should prolly use another one. So I drew her with the Bhûtadâmara mudra, a gesture to ward off evil. (Ironic that I got a computer virus like 5 minutes after drawing it.) Anyway, those are lotus flowers, if you can't tell, and that's mehndi patterns in the back. ..... I apologize if I butchered Indian culture. I didn't know what else to draw in the back, and only having flowers seemed a little lame.

Love the work on the hands. very delicate. i think they're complimented by the flowers which also bear so much delicacy. i good visual comparison. the eyes are engaging and the expression carries a muted intensity. nice work!
