Cilly Hill Road. Underhill Vermont

I returned to this road many times, but I never was able to get anything special out of it. Then one morning before work I tried again and I was rewarded for my patience with a beautiful foggy morning. I set up my 4x5 view camera and made several exposures, but the fog was too thick and I wasn't happy. I had just packed up my camera and I was leaving when I noticed that the fog was lifting. I quickly set up my view camera and took one frame with the last sheet of film I had. I did raise the flag on the mail box and forgot to lower it when I was finished. I am sure that is in violation of some postal law buried in some postal law book somewhere, but the statute of limitations has run out and now I can tell all.

It's too beautiful for words.....and I loved the story that accompanied it. For all the times you missed you were well rewarded.
