Moonflower

For the past two seasons, my mother and I have not been successful with the moonflowers I have so desperately wanted to grow. Even after careful planting this year, we deemed it another failure. The morning glories ran rampant. We saw the leaves for the moonflowers, but no blossoms. One night when we drove in from work, I spotted this gigantic blossom, as large as my fist and the most fragrant bloom I have ever smelled. A moonflower!
