The Vegetable Vendor

These veiled women are usually the early migrants from the neighbouring countries from India and Africa. The local women are rich and educated.

Hello Francis! How are you? I like this picture very much. It has a wonderful atmosphere. In Kuwait they have a women's market. They're usually Bedouin women come in from the desert to sell their wares. Mostly textiles. They sit up on their stalls and haggle the prices with you. It's great! This lovely painting reminds me of the hustle and bustle of these same markets. Amazing detail and brilliant use of shadow and light. Love it!
