In this series I want to open this Arabian door to show my AW friends some of the most memorable vanishing scenes in this mysterious Middle East... UAE,Dubai,Abu Dhabi,Deira and other town in the Desert. These places I painted before the face-lift, when I when back most of these places were beyond recognition. It had change so fast thatI feel left out, I love this place, I was staying in this place before. Those scenes keep flashing back... the fish & meat market, the creek, the dhows, the gold zouks, the cobbler, the tea stalls, and of course the smell, the warmness, hospitality and smile of the people. I hope my friends in Dubai will see this series and I miss to all !
