First Storm of the Year Oct 5th

First Storm (Snow) of the Year. Early afternoon looking out towards the Winnipeg Parliment Building on Oct. 5th, 2005. This weather is the result of a Colorado low being introduced to artic air. Taken with my new camera, (:D) a HP 945 Digital Camera I hope you enjoy the photo :o) framing done in PhotoFilter

Gosh Les! This is fabulous. It has all the atmosphere, colour and texture of an impressionist painting. Love the snowflakes flying in the wind and the rosy mist lying low over the bronze Autumn trees. Fantastic! Love it!

Wow Les, don't be sending that to Regina! Doesn't seem fair somehow that winter should be starting so soon. It doesn't usually do that til Halloween night when the kids are trying to trick or treat! This is a beautiful image. Amazing to have the snow flurries with a backdrop of beautiful fall colours!
