Saskatchewan Homestead

This beautiful relic was hiding amongst the trees near the small town of Melfort, Saskatchewan. I had discovered it while taking a drive a day after my Grandmother's funeral. It was almost like she wanted me to find it.

Really a cool old house...I like the way you find the emotions that many others would pass by in things and places...Truly this has something to tell us...each perhaps different and maybe each the same. I wonder what it is besides curiousity. Nice to see your work...Have a wonderful day and say Hello to all your loved ones. CB

You weren't so terribly far from me. I live in Regina! I've been to Melfort. In fact, my husband did a piece for CBC radio on the Melville Millionaires and baseball in Saskatchewan.

I love old barns and abandoned houses. You really captured the feel of this house. Imagine the stories it would tell us if it could.
