the original photo was taken by my friend kate, and the scarf was made by my friend libby. i used this as the first album art for my band. we took a lot of pictures like this with me in my scarf out in the snow in the courtyard of our school. i wanted to make it look like a black pencil illustration you might see in a book by charles dickens or something like that. i think it turned out really pretty.
