Memorial #1

My Grandfather passed away about a year and 1/2 ago. He was a well respected man in the town of Prospect Heights, IL. He had lived a long life and contributed a great deal to educating the public about nuclear energy. He was a renown lecturer on the subject around the world. When he retired he was the senior editor for Power Engineering Magazine out of Wheeling Illinois. In 2001 on the anniversary of incorporation for the city of Prospect Heights my grandparents dedicated a clock to the city for all to remember that monumental occasion. My grandparents were instumental in incorporating the city and he was their first alderman. After the memorial service for my Grampa we had asked if we could plant some lillies in his honor around the clock and they agreed. We neglected to mention that we also scattered his ashes at the same place so that he would forever be with the town he loved. Fredric C. Olds will always be remember by all. Satialee 2005
