Wow... I've only seen one of these in real life once when I was 12 waiting to catch the bus for school... I marveled at it... but I don't think I could have tolerated it on me! Outstanding patience you have... well worth it I think.
This Rocks, lol. Detail is great and the fact it didn't move, wow. The truck in background contrast well with the perspective of the foreground subject matter in a wild way.
Artist Reply: FYI. This little mantis didnt stand still. He attacked my camera twice, when that didnt work for him he flew (yes they fly) streight at me and landed on my shoulder. It was creepy when I felt him crawling on my neck. i set him back on the spot where I found him . All in all it took me 38 pics and about 30 minutes to get this shot.
