An old weathered barn stands in western New York after many years in the elements. It is long in need of a fresh coat of paint but the warm gray tone adds to the feel of this painting. I was very pleased with the “framing” effect on this composition as the dark green shades of the foreground lead you to the warm richness of the field and the barn.
