This piece was done as a self-promotional sample for Paramount Pictures, and several other commercial outlets. My goal was to combine my love of classic portraiture with technical illustration, and a Sci-Fi cultural element. I have always liked what the Star Trek universe stood for; a better future for all of humanity, which I hope we continue to aspire towards. Hope you like it. (Interesting note; the portable 'phones' that were used in the original show were called communicators, what we know know as cell phones!)
