Heaven on Earth

Someone asked me why i labled all the drawing as stained glass designs. I thought i would respond here. All my pen and ink drawings are designs for stained glass. There are special rules that need to be followed when creating a design. Glass breaks in a straight line so the shapes you make have to be a certain way. Like a lock and key. Point ended shapes have to fit into a angle of some sort and that angle cannot be cut but formed from two separate pieces. So when making a design you have to keep this in mind. Rules can be broken with a glass saw or other techniques depending on the circumstance. Hand drawn in pencil and then felt tip pens, but enhanced digitally to brighten colors and straighten lines. OK, now I have a new favorite. I love this one and the title! Thanks for the info on the stained glass techniques. I only knew it had to take a lot of talent like yours!
