I know I had placed you on my a r t w a t ch list, but for some reason I wasn't notified of your most recent postings. Your paintings amaze me! The different lights that you achieve with the same subjects but different palettes. You must have spent a great deal of time there to have become so knowledgeable. You really capture their life in your paintings of the Bedouins.
Artist Reply: Thank you Diana, I worked in the Middle East in Dubai as an Artist doing architecturer work for a few years, I travelled around the desert in my spare time...I observed this animals in detail..
Love the sandy colours you have used throughout... the way the wind seems to be moving the sand around them.. Fantastic details, the smile on the gentleman's face and the camel who is looking directly at us! Outstanding!! They look like they are posing for a camera! The darker colours in the sand and shadows are handled so skillfully! You are truely a master Francis! Fantastic watercolour, there is so much to see and enjoy! :o)
