Great color - in the wide range of emotions you've captured in the same basic expression, this one is more about the sorrow than the rage or angst. I know that color has a lot to do with my perception - the red translate rage, the cool tones, sorrow or stillness. Somehow I think there are other factors playing in beyond just that - there's something about how the paint is applied differently. Perhpas more contemplatively. I think the influence of a color sets the creators mind set before the paint even leaves the palette. This series of yours..... Derek, it's really quite a masterpiece and a mamoth effort on your part.
