I realised a short time ago that this picture fits in the Beginings and ends project. The end is in the Indian girls death, and the begining is in her soul leaving her body in the form of a butterfly. In Greek legend the butterfly was suposed to be the souls of the recent dead, and were called psyche or psych. Painted for a friend, she sugested Jungle Magic as the theme for it. Acrylics on heavyweight paper,measuring 21¼ x 14¾ inches. Copyright © Steph Salt
