Wow this is really a great watercolor painting!! I love the purple tones repeated throughout in the horizon, the camels, and their shadows... just amazing. Great use of light as well. Awesome work!!

Purple tints spread across the landscape as the afternoon shadows lengthen. The lavender mountains covered in grey mist shimmer in the distance as the camel caravan wends its weary way home!

That must be a breath-taking experience... the fresh, cool morning air, clear blue skies, a little frost maybe or dew on the plants, and the warm, rythmic movement of the camel below you as you begin your journey home... Love all the Fantastic details and the wonderful palette you have used! The shadows always give me such delight.. I love seeing what they are doing! Excellent watercolour!! :o)

i see in your submissions from yesterday a bit of a new palette in subtke ways... the purple shadows are wonderful... your limited palette warm and very welll designed... i feel the slow date of the movement of the camels... youre so very talented francis.... : )
