Ship to Shore

This painting is something to do with dreaming about being somewhere else, being lost in a reverie...at least that's what I felt when I painted it! It kept changing and resulted in a many layered piece when I had finally finished.

Your use of color is outstanding and I love that you paired it with a charming story that gives it more appeal and dimension. The man in the boat is very charming.

Being on the boat is a lovely symbol of this wonderful reverie......looks like there are many levels and dimensions...sort of layered......it is wonderful that you have conveyed this feeling extremely well...your inspiration really shines through your Art in a marvellous, original and flowing style.......the more I look at your Art...the more I appreciate it!!!

I like this very much, I also like the idea of it. I would like to see you make the man in the boat stronger. I think he should "pop" out in this picture to give it his story. He does stand out a bit but maybe more would be better, anyway, he is wonderful to look at and I want to see him better!
