SKY DANCING

A Mountain Blue Bird in hover mode.. I was photographing a cabin in the Tetons and there just happen to be a nest in the sod roof in the rafters made by these blue birds.. The male was trying to divert my attention or actually to draw me away from there, thinking that I would follow him.. There are some birds that use this as a evasive manuver to divert possible danger/predators away from the nest..He would basically fly off and then hover up and down in the sky.. The Bottom shot is where he actually was in relation to where I was photogaphing.. I managed to take some images of him and the female as they would bring food to the nest, but not wanting to bother the nest , I did not get any images of the babies..They actually were well hidden in the sod of the roof.....You may have noticed that of late I have been putting my copy right up into the image.. This has become necessary because of some people downloading and printing my images without my permission. Hopefully you can view the images without too much distraction and have a clear understanding why I have done this...It is a fine line trying to put up a image of sufficent resolution for viewing and yet not allow a high quality print to be made with out my authorizing it..
