The 12 moods of Being...

Oil on Canvas, 24"x30"
Year: 2003-2004
Buy original online at www.windstream.ca

Italy, Year 1995. She stands admiring The Trevi Fountain: passions and emotions frozen in stones bathed by the ever-living waters. Water - the source and cradle of life - could its power to penetrate and ensoul those naked cool stones? Suddenly the thought becomes the reality, space transcends, shell blooms into a beautiful flower, ten more horses join the two to capture changing moods of being...

Thank you to everyone for viewing my work.

I bet you are also a good writer or a poet, or both. You wouldn't find an illustrator for your book that'd be better than yourself. And I'd certainly buy that book for both- the stories and the pictures.:)

Very creative thought process, though I don't understand the title.

Artist Reply: Thank you! The 12 moods are represented by 12 horses of the pantings - some are visible immidiately and their emotions are easy recognizable, others are in small groups and could be interpreted differetnly depending on the viewer: I showed it to my friends and got quite a few different interpretations, some quite unexpected.
