Gypsy's Secret

This painting was a challenge. Done on fine 28x36" handmade rice paper, which became transparent as I worked!

Very serene. At first, it has the feel of layered colored tissue paper, but it also has post-impressionistic qualities. Rice paper gives an interesting effect!

Artist Reply: Thanks! This was an experiment. I used watercolor & some acrylic. You can't overwork the paper or it will fall apart though.
