Dragon Warrior Queen

Original Size: 10"x15" This is my depiction of a Warrior Queen leading the march of her kingdom's beastly, but fiercely loyal & obedient army. This piece was done as a self-promotional sample. The idea and character designs are by me. A publisher who saw it in my portfolio has expressed interest in using it, so if it has to come down later due to contractual obligations, you know why. Either way, I'll re-post it again when the time is right.

great design on the male character and the costumes! The only thing I can say to critique is that perhaps a bit more hip on the female would balance out her chest, but hey that's probably a matter of preference. The angle to her thumb is very harsh, but a wonderful image. I'd want to check out the book if it were on the cover! :) There's a story to the image.
