The Valley

When I was going through one of the hardest times of my life I painted this. Everything looked pretty grey, and cold. From out of the grey came an immage of unfailing love that changed my life forever. It continues to change me every day.

This picture and your story behind it brought tears to my eyes. Great reminder of the ultimate purpose in everything. GREAT style in the way you depicted the mountains and the way the cross rises above the coldness of them all. I am inspired in my art and my life by your picture. Thank you!!!

Artist Reply: Wow...I don't know what to say. I am glad that it was something that could touch you. As artist I think we all want our art to have an impact on others. Most of what I do is just for fun...to make things astheticly pleasing, but to make a difference in someone who looks at it is more important then all of the pritty pictures. Art was created to point the way to Love, though it falls short of that often. Thank you so much for your comments. Have a totaly Awesome Day, and if possible a better Week!

Lovely story and beautiful painting.

Artist Reply: Thanks Joan. I am glad that you like it. It is't the most grand or colorful, or even pritty painting I have done, but it means more to me then all of the others.
