Earth Goddess

In this abstract pencil work i wanted to show the various colors and energy of the universe and life within this portrait of a young lady. If you look closely, a portrait of this goddess , perhaps mother nature, is fused with colors and various swirling forms. The effect i wanted is mosaic in both dynamic and execution. Wow ! every once in a while I think I have lost her!...... then she reappears and looks at me so deeply!!! A bit like our connection to the thing we do to mother earth and remember fleetingly that she is all we have..we must learn to care more... beautiful and haunting...
