Texas Tenaka-sunset

This is a pin-up for the Texas tenaka comic series. I don't do much painting, but I broke out the water colors for this one

The coloring on this is great. Your lack of experience with it doesn't show a bit!

Very effective use of colors n shadow!!! I hear the hiss of the sun, the snare of the snake... firm footsteps crunch crisply, past bones buried now brittle gravel...

Excellent design and illustration.

jeff interesting use of texture in the shadow, but those long stretched out shadows at sunset work. I take it we got a rattler poised to strike. any significance? Could find a couple other sybols in there like the lizared a spider or scorpion!
