Oh My!! What a wonderful surprise Nira!! Beautiful woman in gorgeous costumes dancing in barefeet! How I LOVE these photos, such fun!! Fabulous how you have captured them with their skirts all flared out like that.. like lovely flowers in the wind! The rich colours are outstanding! I love the story of the baskets of fruit from the kindergarden childern - such wonderful traditions.. What fantastic photos!! Thea will love this Nira!! :o)

Barefeet!! Who would have thought it! These are really great pics. Do the baskets signifiy something?

Artist Reply: Yes...thank you Nancy...great question, The baskets definitely signifies something ,Nancy :-) the whole event was for "SHAVUOTH "...in Shavuoth people should bring the "First - Fruit " in a special "basket for fruit",according to tradition to the Temple,theses ceremonies are more rare today...only in few Kibbutz doing partly those ceremonies for " Shavuot ",or the kids in kindergarden,brings a basket with " Fitst - Fruit",the baskets U can see in these photo brought by the small children of "Mizra Kibbutz",I will post a photo of those baskets.
