...Just Frida!

Oils 18" x 30" ©Roger Trivinos 2005 I was reading about Frida and I couldn't help it but feeling motivated to do a painting. But How to do it? Not in any way or Form close to her style. I decided to do it with a lot of felling, Firts i design it off center just because Diego was there on the center of attention always. She's standing to one side as well beacause she had to carry all her pain.. and the sttripes fading away on her side is to symbolize how day after day, she was losing her life.... in loneliness; Because even married to Diego Twice He never was there... Just Frida! This painting got Honorable mention at the annual Pomona Valley Art Association art contest.
