The Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina is one of the world's few advancing glaciers. Because it flows into Lake Argentino its massive glacial wall - up to 70 metres high - can be fully appreciated. Most glaciers end in dirty tongues that bury themselves in the rubble they scour from the landscape. Minolta 801si alpha, 100-300mm lens, Fujichrome Velvia, no filter, no colour manipulation.
