Serenity

When I was little my father calmed my night fears by describing a beautiful white horse with wings.

There is no room for fear when your mind is imagining a flying horse.

Even now, as an adult, when my mind is uneasy I think about this image, and my father's peace, to give me serenity.

It is the best gift my father ever gave me.
