Really a unique piece! Love the eccentricities! Impressive image and expression. Unforgettable!

I just love your outlines changing the colors. I wish I could do it like this. But somehow I cannot work on outlines so spotless. Unbelievable work! Though the guy reminds me of a Street Fighter Character and not so much of a peaceful angel. Nah, the fighter didn´t really have so much peace in his facial expression. Is it a halo or the sun in the background?

Artist Reply: Heya Carolin, Thanks so much for the comment, I'm glad you liked my piece. I elongate the necks of most, if not all, of my african/african-american characters. It represents strength, pride and fortitude to me. That is a halo behind the head of my angel. More of a symbolic icon and nod to some of the leftover info from my art history courses as to how halos were portrayed classically in paintings.
