if this for real. If this is truely freehand pointillism I have not yet seen a more in depth and photo perfect piece. I realize there is controversy over super-realizm but surely you deserve more credit for the effort you put into this one.

Artist Reply: Hi Robin. Many thanks for the comments. I Know what you mean about the issue of photo-realism. I missed out on winning a competition last year because the judges thought it was a photo and not 'arty' enough. People generally walk past my art. Why not just buy a photo some say!!! I now use and teach coloured pencils and pointillism is on the back burner for a while. Cheers.
