I went looking for roos and only found this ..sorry i am not to good at taking flower photos may have to ask for some help with these shots now ladies how do you do it
Stan...first ,i would choose another bird :-)...more fresh,but lets say this is part of mother nature..and it has its beauty of - course...then of - course its the timing...the lighting...and then...ajustments at photoshop...this is the formula...! :-) great shot ,stan...i can see also a bee there...
this flower looks a bit past its prime.... Love the bright colors that are left,however. How neat that they grow wild where you live! Our wild things prevalent here are dandelions and poison ivy!
I love the Bird of Paradise flower. Lucky you to have it grow wild. The secret of taking good flower shot is to use a wide aperture (if you're not using a macro lens) to soften the background. In this case I would have tried a number of different angles (maybe you did) and see which works best. But thanks for sharing Stan.
