Acrylic on Canvas 62"x62" (157.48 centimeters x 157.48 centimeters) 2005 In 2004 I got bit by a dog in Mexico, and had to undergo rabies treatment. This painting is my tribute to that experience. Copyright(c) 2005 Northwest Louisiana Art Gallery All rights reserved.

This is an amazing piece. The patterns, the colors, the design are beautiful. I'm so sorry for you and what happened. Other than the angry dog in the middle, the rest of the work looks intense but happy.

Fantastic artwork! great attention to detail with excellent color choices.

Artist Reply: Thank you Mark. I enjoyed creating this piece. It was sort of an exorcism for me. The dog bite in Mexico, while minor, was a bit traumatizing. I was so shocked that a dog had actually run up to me and bit me. I LOVE animals, and have always thought that they understood that. This particular dog, however, was more concerned with protecting its territory than making friends.
