"Blue Jay Kittens" 16" x12" Acrylic on Canvas, 2005. Newly hatched Blue Jay Kittens in their nest in a flowering dogwood tree. They are wide-eyed and ready to explore their surroundings! A few other little flying spring creatures ( ladybugs, monarch butterfly and bumble bees ) have come to greet them.
