Getting ready for a new rug,Is really ALOT of preparations,starting with planning the rug...then,dyeing wool fabrics...then cutting to strips/bands of fabrics ,which i use as the material for the rug...as you can see i have alot of help from my cat Silk...And he's really anjoying this work...he likes to jump also on the frame i use for doing the rug...it's going to be alot of fun to both of us this rug :-)( ...! the bottom photo,is some stripes i've already cut...there will be more to cut... Silk is really beautiful sitting there with all your pretty dyed wool fabrics! and I'll bet he is having fun with them! :) It is a lot of work making a rug.. fascinating to see the process, thank you for sharing it with us.. these photos are WONDERFUL!! The colours are fantastic! perfect compostion!! 10pluses!! :o)
