The painting was done from a poor photograph which often make a good start for a painting. I waited sometime before taking the shot as I was looking for interesting figure poses. The result an acrylic painting done on a very rough surface and combined with pastel, Glaze was sprayed on to fix it. A final brushed on coat of glaze sealed the surface rock hard. The focus is soft, size, 20 X 16 inches or 51 X 41 cm.
