Still Life With Genie Lamp and Lemons

Painted from the still life ( not from a photograph ) in oil on an archival artist panel ( Ampersand "Gessobord" ). This painting depicts a large copper jug in my collection we all love and call the "genie lamp". Also included in the painting are 3 lemons. I used high contrast light in this painting which is fun and moderately spooky. This one of a kind painting is currently for sale on Ebay for a 5 day auction. www.alohashark.com.

excellent sparkle, shine and use of the medium. clear and clean. it shows how you love art in this still life.

I like the different colors in the lamp w/ the reflections of the lemons. The background seems a little overpowering w/ the shadow and the lemons are floating a little. Maybe just a little more work & this would be a great piece. I really like the oranges in the lamp, great work.
