Katsina Springs

Kinetic, welded recycled steel and mixed media, 104" by 61" by 20", copyright 2004 This is the second in a series of three "portals", all dealing with the idea of moving from one paradigm to another as a result of events or experiences that gradually, or radically, transform our lives. It is a cornucopia of native and religious symbolism signaling the viewer to stop and consider closley how so many things in life are connected. As wind passes through, it is constantly changing the relationship of one element to the next, in an ongoing choreography of sight and sound.

SUCH A POWERFUL AND PURELY ELECTRIC ART...IMPRESSIVE LIGHT...I SEE THE ASCENSION...THE LIGHT, THE LAYERS THE MOVEMENT AND THE ELEMENTS DRAW ONE IN...ALL THINGS ARE ONE...ONE ARE ALL...AND ALL ONE. WHOOOPS...I THINK THIS ONE REALLY IS BEYOND MAGIC...IT IS THE TRUE HARNESS OF THOUGHT.
