The Bag Pipers

On Sunday, April 24th, my family, and friends and I, and thousands of other people in Winnipeg, participated in a walk to help raise money for MS (multiple sclerosis) research. The ANAF 283 Pipe Band in their Flower of Scotland Tartans kicked it all off in fine style, as we walked, biked, or wheelchaired our way along the start of the route. It was a cooler, brisk day of only 2C with a strong north east wind. But no one seemed to mind, not even these fellows in their kilts! Everyone had a grand time! and raised lots of money too! It was very heart warming... :o) taken with digital camera Olympus D-395
