Plums and Pears in a Basket

This rather small pastel painting depicts plums and pears in a basket. This study was done quickly (inside of two hours) from the still life setup, not from a photograph. Painted at night in studio in high contrast artificial light. Materials used were soft pastel L'Ecu Sennelier on sanded paper. WWW.ALOHASHARK.COM
