La Colle sur Loup, France

Another painting inspired by the wonderful light in the south of France. This was painted whilst I was on a course just outside Nice.

The is a good painting, loose and dynamic. I had missed it in earlier browses. I like it very much and you captured the S.France and light.****

Very interesting piece. I like your free strokes. Your work is beautiful and eye catching. You seem to be at peace with your surroundings when you are painting.

This is really lovely. So spontaneous and fresh. Love those brisk, loose brush strokes. You've captured the light beautifully. Tres Jolie!!

Nice sunny effect. good colours. I would prefer a little more detail. seems a tad unfinished

Artist Reply: This was painted in a short time, and was an exercise to try to loosen up - it seems like it worked!!! I had been wanting to be more 'painterly' in my work, and maybe this went too far in the opposite direction! Still, it was a useful exercise.
