This is a composite of several horses' photos. I was trying to capture the darks and lights. Some "art lover" made some marks on it when I hung it in a gallery recently. Ampersand says you can hang scratchboard without glass, but I've learned my lesson. No, you can't if you want it to be protected those who feel they can improve on your work.

could you just take them out to the back of the barn and put them out of 'your' misery?! the NERVE!. why anyone would do that is beyond me. you're a kinder soul than me and yes i guess there's nothing you really could do about it but learn from it but............... this is a gorgeous scratch that needed NO help.Amanda Willey 10 Jan 2007
