**After the Rain — Yellow Hau Flower, Maui** A brilliant yellow hau blossom emerges from lush tropical foliage, its delicate petals and surrounding heart-shaped leaves covered in fresh droplets of water. The flower's rich golden center contrasts beautifully with the vibrant greens of the surrounding vegetation, revealing the intricate textures and natural patterns of this distinctive tropical plant. Native to coastal regions throughout the Pacific, the hau (*Hibiscus tiliaceus*, also classified as *Talipariti tiliaceum*) is a familiar part of Hawai?i's tropical landscape. This intimate botanical photograph celebrates the quieter beauty of Maui, where even the smallest details become extraordinary after the rain.
